My Stuff

I bought this camera after a bit of searching on the Internet. Since I was overseas I couldn't really handle the cameras the way I wanted so I had to go on a little bit of faith. I ended up choosing this model because it can charge through USB instead of having to use a clunky charging dock. I lucked out because this camera takes AMAZING food pics. It captures colors awesomely. If I need another point and shoot I will definitely buy this model again. Only con is that is doesn't shoot well in low light situations. Costs ~$80 on Amazon (New and Used)

I got this Laptop two years ago at Christmas-time. With this powerhouse of a computer, I have always felt at the top of tech. It even seems faster than newer laptops I see coming out (It could be because I know just how to tweak a computer..) You can see its stats by clicking on the link.

I LOVE using using Windows Live Writer to write my blogs. I started using it pretty early on and like that it is much more user-friendly and extendable than the default blogger composer thing. It also supports plugins. I use only about two plugins (still testing them actually) but only because the Gallery for Windows Live Writer add-ons is pretty dismal.. When using WLW your blog theme is automatically imported so while you write you can sort of see how it will look when you post. When I write my blog I usually set up the article with the photos in the right places first and then write when I have time. Thankfully, WLW supports drafts so I can just set up a few photos in a blog article, give it a title, and then add the story when I have more time to write.

I use Windows Live Photo Gallery to do minimal processing before posting my photos. I don't believe in changing a photo so much that it is barely recognizable against the original. Since I use a point and shoot and the photos are processed directly into JPG's the amount of post-processing I can do is minimal. Forcing too much post-processing on a JPG can result in a distorted photo. The only things I play with are: Exposure and Color.
