I am a HUGE fan of using what is in season. I know, living in the states, you can find just about everything at every season from all over the world. Here in Laos, and I am sure in other countries, you only have what is in season. Sometimes you might get some “just past season” or a little pre-season food, but it isn’t the best.
Since I’ll be returning to the US in ~twenty-two days I wanted to look into what is in season so I can be ALL ready.
Epicurious has made a wonderful guide showing what food is in season for a particular state and month as well as providing more information about the ingredient and recipes.

If you know of any other resources for seasonal ingredients please let me know in the comments. I am especially looking for global seasonal resources. The best I have found so far have been for the US, with the UK and Australia being the only others I’ve seen.
