Stumbled across these on one of the small side pockets of a Luang Prabang market. Had to stop for closer inspection (and photos).
Yep, those are definitely some YUMMY looking crabs! Looks like you could just buy them all ready to boil. Just dip ‘em in using the wooden basket piece and pull ’em out the same way.
I would say that Noy and I could enjoy a fine meal split between us with one crab-pack. Bloggers’ note: if using the word crab do not simply rely on spellcheck. I almost posted that as crap-packs..
I wish I had had more time in Luang Prabang when I was there. Next time I go I will definitely make sure I have access to a kitchen so I can cook a couple of crab-packs and share the results. Not the crab, just the pics. Unless you come with for a tour..
