Thai Chili, fills the void, I’m picky what can I say?

With a name like Thai Chili one would expect to see some chilis.. I had to ask for these. What does that say to you?

This is probably one of the best “Thai” restaurants I’ve been to in this area. These grilled chicken spring rolls were delicious! The flavors are almost indescribable. I love the mix of textures with fresh spring rolls. There is a soft almost gluey stickiness to the wrapper, crisp vegetables, and chicken with a crunchy charred exterior and juicy, succulent center.

Instead of making it easy for me and giving me only one sauce I have to decide how to split my bites between these two.. We’ve got a peanut sauce at the top and a sweet chili sauce on the bottom. It was a tough decision. Who can say no to a sweet splash on charred meat? I ended up devouring the peanut sauce in its entirety and getting somewhat into the sweet chili sauce.

Beef Pad Thai. MMMMMMMMMMMM I love me some beef pad thai. Thankfully they didn’t mess this one up. I know I’m pretty spoiled when it comes to delicious Lao and Thai food and accordingly, I’m very picky when it comes to staple dishes of the cuisine.

Now, when I ordered my pad thai I told the waiter that I wanted my stuff spicy. My usual, I want my whole mouthfacepart red like fire bit resulted in him bringing out this like it was some secret. Obviously this waiter is a noob. Fish sauce with chilis is like my ketchup.

Ultimately this restaurant was delicious and its only drawback are its distance from home, moderate price, and noob waiter. Also, they can’t make tam mak hoong even when Som Tam is clearly on the menu.. Poss noob “chef.”
