Yummyummy! Even after I had eaten dinner I had to stop for these. A woman with a simple stove and this cast-iron tray would pour a creamy liqui-cream into them and then hand them out when they crisped up some. Every time I ask what the snacks are called I hear “Ka-nom!" Ka-nom is Lao for snack so I learned to ask for more specific names.
These ones were some kind of coconut custard. That’s all I got. SO delicious and chewy, great dessert after Pad Thai. This is located at Sihom next to Home Ideal. 2000 kip for what you see here. It is possible that you might get one or two more than shown here. I *may* have eaten one or two before getting a pic.
Thanks to Noy for helping me set this up with the store lighting!
